Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray Review

Are you thinking of picking up a Tesla Center Console Tray for your Model 3 or Y? Read on for what makes the Jeda Console Tray stand out.

With the complete lack of a drivetrain and traditional combustion engine under the hood, electric vehicles have no shortage of storage areas. This is an interesting added bonus when buying an EV. That said, if you are like me, all that extra space quickly becomes a dumping ground for odds and ends. This can leave you with a disorganized mess.

The Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray can help you reclaim some of this space in a useful and attractive way.

What is the Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray?

The Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray is a thoughtful addition to any Model 3 or Model Y. On top of being a clean and stylish way to organize that deep centre console storage space, it includes a couple of unique features – a charging spot for your Apple Watch and a charging pad for your Airpods of Pixel Buds!

On top of the unique ability to charge your personal devices, this Tesla Center Console Tray includes a spot for your sunglasses, something suspiciously missing from Tesla Model Y and 3 cabins. It also includes a two-tiered storage layout allowing you to keep valuables even more secure below the tray. Smart.

Why Do You need a Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray?

If you own a Tesla, you are likely a tech nerd like me. This means you probably have a smartwatch and wireless earbuds. Having a Tesla centre console tray that can organize and charge these devices is a no brainer.

This feature is a welcome one for me as it frees up the hassle of digging out charging cords for these devices. Instead, they are charged easily in a convenient location that is both hidden from sight and accessible. This would have been great for me to have on my last trip across the country as it would have allowed me to charge my Airpods and Apple Watch while driving, leaving them ready to go for my hike up the Sleeping Giant or through Quebec’s Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier.

Jeda Tray Installation

Installing a Jeda tray is as easy as clearing out your console and connecting the included power cord to a USB port. To make things easier, the connector has a magnet on it an snaps into place.

Since the Model 3 and Model Y only have two USB ports in the centre console, you will likely use them to install the tray (the other port connects to the wireless charging pad.) As such, I recommend installing a Jeda USB hub. This will expand your USB ports to six and includes the added bonus of being able to discreetly conceal your Sentry Mode storage device. The best part, it pairs perfectly with the Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray.

Thoughts So Far

They say a picture says a thousand words so I will let my before and after photos do the talking.

I have turned a disorganized mess into a tech charging location that is easy to access and looks great. On top of that, I have a spot to keep my sunglasses now which is also a welcome win. I highly recommend the Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray. Pick up yours today!
