Why Do You need a Jeda Tesla Center Console Tray?
If you own a Tesla, you are likely a tech nerd like me. This means you probably have a smartwatch and wireless earbuds. Having a Tesla centre console tray that can organize and charge these devices is a no brainer.
This feature is a welcome one for me as it frees up the hassle of digging out charging cords for these devices. Instead, they are charged easily in a convenient location that is both hidden from sight and accessible. This would have been great for me to have on my last trip across the country as it would have allowed me to charge my Airpods and Apple Watch while driving, leaving them ready to go for my hike up the Sleeping Giant or through Quebec’s Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier.
Jeda Tray Installation
Installing a Jeda tray is as easy as clearing out your console and connecting the included power cord to a USB port. To make things easier, the connector has a magnet on it an snaps into place.
Since the Model 3 and Model Y only have two USB ports in the centre console, you will likely use them to install the tray (the other port connects to the wireless charging pad.) As such, I recommend installing a Jeda USB hub. This will expand your USB ports to six and includes the added bonus of being able to discreetly conceal your Sentry Mode storage device.
